Cabin & Lounge This is the agreement when you stay at Highland Station Inn.
Please read through before using.

(Scope of application)

Article 1

  1. Accommodation contracts concluded by the hotel with guests and contracts related thereto shall be in accordance with the provisions of this agreement and matters not stipulated in this agreement shall be in accordance with laws and ordinances or commonly established customs I will.
  2. Where the hotel responds to the special contract to the extent not contrary to laws and customs, regardless of the provision of the preceding paragraph, the special contract shall prevail.

(Application for accommodation contract)

Article 2

  1. A person who intends to apply for a hotel accommodation contract with the hotel, please offer the hotel the following matters.
    1. Guest name
    2. Accommodation date and expected arrival time
    3. Room charge (In principle, it is based on the basic accommodation fee of Appended Table 1)
    4. Other matters deemed necessary by the hotel
  2. When guests have requested to continue staying beyond the staying date of item 2 of the preceding paragraph during the stay, the hotel treats as if there was an application for a new accommodation contract at the time of the offer .

(Establishment of accommodation contract etc)

Article 3

  1. The accommodation contract shall be established when the hotel accepts the application under the preceding article. However, this does not apply when we prove that our hotel did not accept.
  2. When the accommodation contract is concluded pursuant to the provision of the preceding paragraph, payment of the deposit specified by the hotel limited to the basic accommodation fee of the staying period (three days when it exceeds 3 days) by the date specified by the hotel I will get you.

(Special agreement not to pay application fee)

Article 4

  1. Notwithstanding the provision of paragraph 2 of the preceding article, the hotel may respond to a special agreement that does not require payment of the deposit under the same paragraph after the contract is established.

In accepting an application for a hotel accommodation contract, if the hotel did not request payment of the application fee set forth in paragraph 2 of the preceding Article and did not specify the due date of the deposit, it shall be dealt with as being in accordance with the special agreement of the preceding paragraph I will.

(Denial of Conclusion of Accommodation Contract)

Article 5

  • The hotel may not respond to the conclusion of accommodation contract in the following cases.
    1. When the accommodation application does not comply with this agreement.

    3. When a person who intends to stay finds that there is a possibility of acts contrary to laws and ordinances, public order or good manners and customs concerning accommodation.
    4. When a person who intends to stay is recognized as falling under (a) from (a).

    6. When a person who intends to stay is clearly recognized as an infectious person.
    7. When natural disaster, facility breakdown, or other unavoidable reason can not make room for accommodation.
    8. When it is recognized that a person who intends to stay may cause inconvenience to other guests.
    9. When it falls under the case prescribed in Article 6 of the Yamanashi Prefecture Inland Enforcement Regulation Enforcement Ordinance.

(Right to cancel contract by guest)

Article 6

  1. Guests can cancel the accommodation contract by offering to the hotel.
  2. If the hotel cancels all or part of the accommodation contract due to reasons attributable to the responsibility (as provided by Article 3, paragraph 2, the hotel designates the payment due date of the application and pays the payment The case where it is requested and the case where the guest canceled the accommodation contract before the payment is excluded)) will apply a penalty fee pursuant to the schedule listed in Appended Table 2. (Right to cancel the contract of our hotel)

Article 7

  1. In the following cases, the hotel may cancel the accommodation contract.
    1. When guests are deemed to be in danger of acts contrary to the provisions of laws and regulations, public order or good manners concerning accommodation, or when it is recognized that they have done the same.
    2. When guests are clearly recognized as being infectious.
    3. When guests are deemed to fall under (a) from (a).

      • When a gangster or a gang member is a corporation or other organization that controls business activities

    7. When it is recognized that guests are likely to inconvenience other guests.

  2. When the hotel cancels the accommodation contract based on the provisions of the preceding paragraph, we will not charge the accommodation services etc. that the guests have not yet received.

Article 8

  1. Guests are required to register the following items at the front desk of the hotel on the day of the staying day.
    1. Name, age, gender, address and occupation of guests
    2. For foreigners, nationality, passport number, entry place and date of entry

    4. Other matters deemed necessary by the hotel
  2. When guests intend to do payment of the fee of Article 12 by a method that can substitute for currency such as traveling checks, accommodation tickets, credit cards, etc., they shall be presented beforehand at the time of registration in the preceding paragraph.
  3. We may ask you to present your identity confirmation documents when the hotel deems it necessary at the time of registration under paragraph 1.

(Room usage time)

Article 9

  1. The time that guests can use our rooms is from 3 pm to 10 am the next morning. Even in the case of staying continuously, it is not possible to stay in the guest room.
  2. Regardless of the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the hotel may respond to the use of rooms outside of the time specified in the same paragraph. In this case the following additional fee will be charged.
    1. Until 3 hours excess, one-third of room charge
    2. Until 6 hours excess, one-half of room charge
    3. Over 6 hours, full of room charge

Article 10

  • Guests are required to comply with the usage rules decided by the hotel and posted in the hotel within the hotel.

(Payment of fee)

Article 12

  1. Breakdown of accommodation fee etc. to be paid by guests and how to calculate it is based on appended table 1.
  2. The payment of the accommodation fee etc in the preceding paragraph is made by the method which can substitute such as currency or travel checks, accommodation tickets, credit card etc. accepted by the hotel, at the time of departure of the guests or upon request by the hotel, at the front desk I will get you.
  3. Even if the hotel offers guests to guests, after the hotel becomes available, guests will be charged the accommodation fee even if the guest did not arbitrarily stay.

(Our Responsibility)

Article 13

  1. We will indemnify the damages when we perform the performance of the accommodation contract and the contracts related thereto, or if we give damages to the guests due to those defaults. However, this is not the case unless it is due to reasons attributable to the hotel's responsibility.
  2. In order to cope with an emergency fire etc., the hotel has subscribed to Ryokan liability insurance.

(Treatment when contracted rooms can not be provided)

Article 14

  1. When the hotel can not provide guest room contracted to the guest, we will arrange other accommodation facilities under the same conditions as much as possible with the consent of the guest.
  2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, if the hotel can not arrange for other accommodation facilities, the hotel will pay a compensation fee equivalent to penalty payment to the guest, and the compensation fee will be used for damages compensation. However, we will not pay a compensation fee when we do not have reasons to be attributed to the hotel's responsibility about what guests can not offer.

(Handling of deposits etc)

Article 15

  1. We will indemnify the hotel unless it is force majeure when damage, damage, etc. are caused to the goods or cash and valuables that guests checked at the front desk. However, with regard to cash and valuables, we will indemnify the damage for guests who did not previously notify the type and price from the guests up to 150,000 yen.
  2. In the event of loss, damage or other damage caused by the intention or negligence of the hotel concerning goods or cash which the guests brought in the hotel and valuable items which were not deposited at the front desk, The hotel will indemnify the damage. However, we will indemnify the damages for those that did not receive a preliminary announcement of type and price from guests, up to 150,000 yen.

(Storage of guest's baggage or portable items)

Article 16

  1. When guest's baggage arrives at the hotel prior to arrival, we will take responsibility only when the hotel agrees before the arrival and will hand it over to the guests when checking in at the reception.
  2. In the case where the guest's baggage or carrying item has been left behind in the hotel after the guest checks out, when the owner is found out, the hotel informs the owner and instructs that owner I will seek for it.   3. (Responsibility for parking)

Article 17

  • Where guests use the parking lot of the hotel, regardless of the deposit of the key of the vehicle, the hotel lends the location and does not assume the responsibility of the management of the vehicle. However, in the case of management of the parking lot, when damaging by the willful or negligence of the hotel, we will charge it for the compensation.

(Responsibility of guests)

Article 18

  • When the hotel suffers damage by willful or negligence of the guest, the guest shall compensate the hotel for the damages.
